The Revert Smart Plugs are individually calibrated during production to ANSI C12.1 - 2024 class 0.5, which means each has the same accuracy as that of a building electric meter. Moreover, the load we measure are in real power terms, after adjusting for power factors. We also maintain 3rd party certifications on the metering accuracy. These rigorous quality control procedures not only classify Revert Smart Plugs as revenue grade meters but also assure you that our measurements can be trusted. After establishing the baseline power load of each equipment, we keep a log of the hours the equipment is kept OFF to compute the savings and convert the resulting kilowatt-hour saved to dollars by your electricity rate.
